Job Description

Our client needs to add competency in the Advanced Technology function to the company senior management team. Continued technical leadership in their market beyond 2005 is dependent on an accurate understanding of the technical requirements the customer will develop as the manufacturing process continues to evolve.

The Vice President/Director of Advanced Technology will, through personal expertise and the ability to provide strong technical leadership, conceptualize product concepts, define technical opportunities and options, and help define the product roadmap for beyond 2005. Managing a small team of technologists the Vice President/Director will manage the drilldown process that identifies key technologies for inclusion in future product offerings. Make/buy technological assessment for core technology is a key component of this responsibility.

Ph.D. in Physics or equivalent
Work: 20 years
Function: 10 years in Development
Geography: International exposure
People Management: Open
